Once again, Saudi Arabia has managed to secure the honour of hosting an elite boxing match-up in their attempt to cement themselves as the hub of the sport in modern times.

On December 21, Tyson Fury (34-1-1) will look to avenge the only loss of his career in an enticing rematch against Oleksandr Usyk (22-0), who beat him on points back in May this year.

“I’ll be back. I’ve got a rematch clause.” Fury promised in the immediate aftermath. “I’ll just throw more this time, keep hitting him in the face more often than I did last time.

I’m just going to box smart, box clever and if I catch him, get him out of there. Pretty similar to what I did last time.”

For the fight, Usyk has the WBO, WBA and WBC titles on the line.

Fury - Usyk official scorecards:

Judge 1: 115-112 to Usyk

Judge 2: 114-113 to Fury

Judge 3: 114-113 to Usyk

Where is Fury - Usyk 2 taking place?

Riyadh’s The Kingdom Arena, with a capacity of around 40,000, will be the host venue for the fight, with fans quick to secure the best seats earlier in the year.

However, the huge stadium is, at the time of writing, unlikely to sell out, with plenty of tickets still remaining.

Truth be told, dear reader, I had gone with ‘In-Fury-ating prices for Usyk fight’ as my first idea for a headline, but when you see just how cheap they are, you’ll realise why I opted against it...

Ticket prices for Fury - Usyk 2

Believe it or not, despite the hype from afar, tickets are on sale via websites such as Viagogo and StubHub for as little as $6!

While it’s true that these seats are in the nosebleed section of the stadium, the prices highlight the lack of demand from the Saudi people to watch boxing, despite the attempt from the country to plant themselves as the premier location. Ringside tickets cost in excess of $30,000 but there can be very good seats close to the action found for anything in the region of $50 to $200.
