How much money did Dillon Danis get paid for his fight against Logan Paul?

Despite regularly trashing other fighters on social media, Dillon Danis has not competed in combat sports bouts since 2019. The purse must have been high.

Dillon Danis, a former Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner and professional “Bellator” fighter, fought against Logan Paul, a social media influencer, in a highly-anticipated boxing match. Unfortunately for Danis, the fight ended in an embarrassing defeat. Throughout the match, he appeared to focus more on fighting the security personnel than his opponent. Ultimately, Danis was disqualified for choking Paul and starting a brawl involving both bodyguard teams.

While the exact amount that Danis earned for the fight is unknown, it was expected to be his most lucrative ever. In a recent guest appearance on the FULL SEND PODCAST, Danis gave a vague hint about his earnings, claiming that he would make more than most of the fighters on the UFC roster, a league he recently expressed interest in joining.

Danis’ statement regarding his potential earnings may have raised some eyebrows, but he stands by his claim that he is making more than most of the fighters in the UFC. According to Danis, only his close friend and teammate Conor McGregor, former two-time UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, and possibly reigning UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev are earning more than him for their fights.

If Danis’ claims are true, he will potentially earn more than even UFC heavyweight kingpin Jon Jones, with whom he has a longstanding feud. It is safe to assume that Danis will receive significant money in the seven-figure area for his efforts in the Logan Paul fight.
