The 2022 US Open will start in a few days, and tennis fans who want to see the action live should get their tickets to the tournament as soon as possible, as they are going fast. The event will begin on Aug. 29 and run through Sept. 11, but there are still some qualifying games from Aug. 24 to 26, which are free to watch. The action will take place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park of Queens in New York City.

A legend’s swan song

There’s much to look forward to at the competition- tennis icon Serena Williams had announced that she will be retiring from the sport on which she has left an indelible mark, and that this competition would be her last.

There’s also Rafael Nadal who will try to increase the number of his grand slam trophies to 23, and the title defense of Emma Raducanu and Daniil Medvedev, who dashed Novak Djokovic’s hopes of achieving a Grand Slam last year.

Tickets are available at the official tournament website, and though it says that Ticket Plans are sold out, entries to individual sessions are still available. Single session tickets may be used either in the morning or in the evening.

Grounds Passes cost $70 and include first-come, first served access to Louis Armstrong Stadium, the Grandstand, and all field courts, but do not give access to Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Tickets to the Arthur Ashe Stadium, which start at $109, give you an assigned seat in the main stadium, and first-come, first served access to Louis Armstrong Stadium, the Grandstand, and all field courts.

Where to buy 2022 US Open tickets

You can buy tickets at the official US Open website, official retailer Ticketmaster, and SeatGeek.
