How much money has Jessica Pegula earned in her tennis career?
It’s been a tremendous year for the experienced American from Buffalo, as she strives to add more silverware to her collection.
American hopes were riding on, among others, Jessica Pegula in the 2024 US Open, a player who not only reached a Grand Slam semifinal for the first time in her career but went one further by beating world number one, Iga Swiatek. Aryna Sabalenka, however, was too strong for her in the final winning 7–5, 7–5.
Jessica Pegula: wins and earnings
While never having won a Slam (yet!), Pegula has had plenty of success in her tennis career. The 30-year-old is having an impressive 2024, already having added two singles titles to her tally – WTA 500 Berlin Ladies Open and Canadian Open – making it six to date. She also has seven doubles titles to her name. Her ranking in the women’s game ahead of the US Open was 6th, with her highest ever placing coming near the end of 2022 when she reached 3rd.
In terms of prize money – although a family worth billions was never going to mean she struggled to put food on the table – this year alone, including the very sizeable $1,800,000 as runner up at Flushing Meadow, she has collected just shy of two million dollars ($3,721,244). That takes her overall career earnings through prize money to $16,104,673. Now ranked 3rd in the women’s game, equalling her highest ever, more success surely isn’t too far away for the 30-year-old.
