This weekend, Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, NY, will see some of the biggest names in the golfing world tee off, competing for a prize purse that is 20% bigger than last year at the 2023 PGA Championship.

The total amount of prize money is $18 million this year, and the winner will get a cool $3.2 million of that to accompany the coveted Wanamaker Trophy.

For the first time in a decade, the tournament returns to Oak Hill as one of the few major championships that are open only to professional golfers; the PGA Championship will split prize money amongst all the top 50 players.

In addition to the money and kudos on offer, the winner will receive an automatic qualification for the next five PGA Championships, as well as all three of the other US majors. Additionally, the winner will win a five-year membership to the PGA Tour and a seven-year membership to the European Tour.
