How much prize money does the winner get at The Sentry 2025?
Golf is back and with the new year, the first PGA Tour event of 2025 gets under way in Hawaii.
The PGA Tour 2025 is off and running with the first event of the year being the The Sentry Tournament of Champions.
The no-cut, stroke play event, which is being held at the Kapalua Plantation Course on the island of Maui (Hawaii) runs from Thursday until Sunday and features 60 competing players with Chris Kirk looking to defend his 2024 title.
This year the 39-year-old will be pushed all the way with the likes of Collin Morikawa, Sungjae Im, (two time champion at The Sentry) Justin Thomas and Xander Schauffele all in contention to bag the title and million dollar purse for the winner.
How much will the winner get?
A total amount of $20 million will be available for the players, with the winner of The Sentry Tournament of Champions getting $3.6 million.
The runner-up will earn $2.16 million, while the third-best player will earn $1.36 million. However, those amounts could decrease if there is a tie for each respective position in the final standings.
