Team Europe

Captained by Björn Borg, the European representatives will have a list full of stars. Casper Ruud (2nd in the ATP), Stefanos Tsitsipas (4th), former world number one Andy Murray, and the Big Three: Rafa Nadal (winner of the Australian Open and Roland Garros), Novak Djokovic (Wimbledon winner), and Roger Federer, who will be performing his swan song.

Team world

The international team led by John McEnroe will have Americans Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, and Jack Sock, Félix Auger-Aliassime of Canada, Diego Schwartzman of Argentina, and Ález de Miñaur of Australia.

Three days of action

The competition is divided into three days, with four matches per day: three singles and one doubles. Friday wins are worth one point, Saturday wins two and Sunday wins three. 24 points are put into play and the champion will be the one who reaches 13. If there is a tie at 12, a doubles match would decide which team will win.

Matches

The matches will be best-of-three sets, with the difference being that the third will be a 10-point super tie-break.

Tennis players’ participation

Each player must play at least one singles game in the first two days, but no one can play more than two throughout the competition. At least four of the six from each team must be fielded in a doubles match. Pairs cannot be repeated, except in the decisive match if there is a tie at 12 points.
