Masters 2022: Tiger Woods’ “golf swing is fine”
The famous golfer Tiger Woods is back for another Augusta National, in “great spirits” and without any debilitating issues. Can he win another Masters?
Tiger Woods is back in action as the Masters kick off today, Thursday, August 7 at 8 a.m. ET. Weeks ago, it seemed unlikely the five-time Masters winner would play this year. But this is Tiger Woods we’re talking about, and if there’s any chance at all that he can play and win, he’s going to.

In his press conference, Woods said that the only issue he’s really experiencing now is with walking, but his golf swing is just fine. So, as long as he can caddy it up on the long hauls and make it through the day walking, he does have a shot at winning a sixth green jacket.
“When you think about it, it really shouldn’t surprise us,” said Masters president Fred Ridley. “He’s one of the most determined, dedicated athletes I’ve ever seen in my life.”
After stating that he would never play golf professionally again, it will be interesting to see how Woods fares in the Masters this year and could determine his future going forward.
More on Tiger Woods:
Will he realistically be able to win the Masters? He’s had 17 months off from golf which would normally be a big factor, but again, this isn’t just any golfer. With Tiger Woods, anything is possible.
