After grabbing much of the attention at this weekend’s PGA Championship, the American golfer needs more time off work.

The Block party hasn’t finished yet!

Were you one of the millions who enjoyed every moment of the four rounds with Michael Block at the PGA Championship? We certainly were as you likely noticed from our coverage at Oak Hill. Well, he captured more hearts with his latest video clip, one that shows him answering the phone and finding out live that he was being invited to play at the upcoming Charles Schwab Challenge, one that has a total purse of $8.7 million.

Check out below how he and his entourage took the news.

Block invited to Charles Schwab Challenge

As the realisation kicked in with the tournament director introducing himself, the scene was set for the emotional reaction.

“Don’t tell me what you’re gonna tell me, ‘cause if you tell me I’m gonna start crying, my friend,” says the 46-year old. You know what comes next...

The offer comes in the form of a sponsor exemption, which, as Joe Pompliano explains, is an invitation to play in an event that you didn’t previously qualify for.

You’ll not want to miss the action and, as usual, we’ll be keeping a close eye on the news, especially that surrounding the man from Missouri.
