Mike Tyson gave an interview to Forbes magazine, detailing his preparation for his upcoming boxing match against Jake Paul on July 20.

A far different fighter from the angry Tyson who bit off a piece of Evander Holyfield’s ear, the former undisputed world heavyweight champion said, “When I bit Holyfield’s ear they took three million dollars from me. And yet I continued taking photos of myself biting other people’s ears. Holyfield and I are the only people who are still making money from a fight from 30 years ago.”

Discussing his preparation for the upcoming bout with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, Iron Mike says that he is taking it all completely seriously, even abstaining from vices in a bid to get into the best possible shape. “I’m living my life disciplined now, so I’m going to have to fight disciplined now. I haven’t taken drugs or had sex in six weeks. I haven’t done that since I was a little kid.”

Tyson famously advocated for the legalization of marijuana and has re-invented himself as a businessman and owner of Tyson 2.0, a cannabis and medical marijuana brand. He admits that it is difficult for him not to be able to smoke and not be able to have sexual relations. “I hate not being able to smoke, but I do it because I love it. I hate that I can’t sleep with my wife, but I do it because I love it.”

His prediction for the fight ahead? Even at 58 years old, Mike Tyson insists that he is a fighter to be reckoned with. “I was born to conquer the world. Whatever I have to endure to achieve, I am here to do it.”
