Moreno vs Royval UFC fight night purse money: How much will they make and how will they split it?
With a Mexican UFC event and a Mexican heavy card, the payout for Brandon Moreno and Brandon Royval could be quite substantial.
This highly-anticipated event in Mexico City will see former UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno take on former UFC flyweight title challenger Brandon Royval in a rematch bout.
Moreno is perhaps the greatest ever Mexican-born fighter to grace the octagon and the payout will be quite substantial. He is no stranger to headlining UFC events and is reportedly set to get a base pay of $200,000 plus incentive pay of $16,000 for this rematch.
This is the first time that Royval will be headlining and it could turn out to be the most profitable weekend of his career. Reportedly, Royval will receive a base pay of $100,000 plus incentive pay of $6,000.
Last time out, Moreno lost to Alexandre Pantoia on the scorecards, but raked in $1.19 million in the process, which included a $50,000 fight of the night bonus. So even though he will earn double his opponent’s money, Moreno is taking a huge step down in purses.
The last time these two faced each other, Moreno scored an impressive first round KO. But four years have since passed and Royval will want to even the score.
