Update:

Scottie Scheffler has spent the week surgically dismantling Royal Portrush. Now, he’s 18 holes away from lifting the Claret Jug for the first time – and adding a fourth major to an already weighty CV. A smooth, composed 67 on Saturday pushed him to 14 under, four clear of Haotong Li, who’ll join him in Sunday’s final pairing at 9:30 a.m. ET.

Can anyone catch Scheffler?

Rory McIlroy, playing in front of a raucous home crowd, fired a Saturday 66 to rocket into third at 8 under. He’ll tee off in the penultimate group with Matt Fitzpatrick (9 under) at 9:20 a.m., with much of Northern Ireland ready to walk every step with him.

But Scheffler has looked near unflappable, his mix of control and patience perfectly suited to the Dunluce links.

Let’s take a look at the full Sunday tee sheet as the 2025 Open Championship reaches its climax.
