Paulo Costa’s post‑fight exchange with President Trump steals the show at UFC 327
The Brazilian fighter and the President of the United States had a brief conversation, which ended with an invitation to the White House.

UFC 327 delivered plenty of action inside the octagon, but one of the most talked‑about moments actually happened outside of it. Brazilian fighter Paulo Costa walked over to U.S. President Donald Trump after his win and exchanged a few words with him.
Following his victory over Russian contender Azamat Murzakanov, Costa approached the president, who was seated in the front row — a familiar sight, as Trump has attended several UFC events in recent years. The two spoke briefly, shook hands, and Costa left the octagon at Miami’s Kaseya Center to loud cheers from the crowd.

A possible White House invitation?
According to multiple reports, after Costa’s comments to Trump, the president extended an invitation for him to visit the White House.

UFC and Trump’s ongoing connection
The long‑standing friendship between President Trump and UFC CEO Dana White has led to frequent presidential appearances at UFC events whenever Trump’s schedule allows.
For Trump’s upcoming 80th birthday on June 14, the UFC is reportedly planning a special event at the White House titled UFC Freedom 250. Ilia Topuria is set to be the star of the night, defending his lightweight title against Justin Gaethje.
