With all of the bad blood between the PGA and LIV Golf, it was far from certain how many, if any, players would be allowed to compete in the 2023 PGA Tour events. The Masters at Augusta saw those concerns allayed and that will continue to the PGA Championship.

In total, 18 LIV golfers have qualified to play at the tournament, some due to their current world ranking, some on the basis of past victories.

The highest-ranking golfer to qualify is Chilean world number 26 Joaquin Niemann. Likewise, Patrick Reid, Thomas Pieters, Harold Varner III, Talor Gooch, and Dean Burmester all sit comfortably within the world top 100, qualifying them for entry.

Mito Pereira has qualified thanks to his third-place finish in the 2022 tournament, while Abraham Ancer and Brendan Steele both finished in the top ten, making them eligible to compete.

Cam Smith and Dustin Johnson have qualified based on their recent Major victories, and Paul Casey is making use of a deferred qualification from last year.
