Who is the favorite to win in the Josh Emmett vs Ilia Topuria UFC fight?

Both fighters are one of the toughest men in the featherweight division and will now collide for a title shot.

Update:
Both fighters are one of the toughest men in the featherweight division and will now collide for a title shot.

Fireworks are expected when Ilia Topuria and Josh Emmet meet inside the octagon in Jacksonville, Florida, in UFC Fight Night’s main event.

There’s a lot at stake for both men, as the winner will likely get a title shot against the current champion Alexander Volkanovski or his challenger Yair Rodriguez, as they will face each other in July.

Emmet, a veteran of the sport (18-3), will be looking to bounce back from his recent defeat to Rodriguez, while the undefeated Topuria (13-0) will try to continue with a perfect record after they collide on Saturday.

Emmet vs Topuria: who’s the favorite?

Although the Phoenix-bred fighter has proven his quality against notable opponents, including victories over Mirsad Bektic, Shane Burgos, Dan Ige, and Calvin Kattar, he will be the underdog against El Matador.

Topuria doesn’t have his opponent’s experience, but he’s one of the most recognizable forces and one of the most notorious rising stars in the whole roster.

The Georgian and Spanish martial artist made a big statement in his latest win against the tough Bryce Mitchell in a match many thought the American would come out on top.

Against Emmet, Topuria will be the clear favorite to get his 14th professional victory in MMA, as a victory is tipped at 1/4 (1.25), while a win for him via KO or TKO is paid at 9/5 (2.8).

A win for the American is priced at 5/2 (3.5), and if he manages to get his hand raised via KO or TKO, bettors will be paid at 9/2 (5.5).

While Emmet has the power to knock any opponent out, Topuria has a strong chin and also has KO power and if things get tough while exchanging, the 26-year-old can take the fight to the ground and try to dominate there.
