Wilder: “We will do it again, for sure”

‘The Bronze Bomber’, who was in Riyadh to watch the Jake Paul-Tommy Fury clash, says he will fight Tyson Fury a fourth time.

The Jake Paul-Tommy Fury fight attracted tons of attention among the boxing community and quite a few celebrities could be seen at the Diriyah Arena, in Riyadh.

Even if the showdown won’t go down in history in terms of skills, both men came to fight and left everything in the ring, with Fury coming out on top by a split decision.

If the prefight was pretty exciting, due to Paul’s charisma and millions of followers, and Fury’s pressure to win the bout, the postfight gave fans some good news.

Former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, who was at the arena, said he will share the ring again with heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

“Of course! We’ll do it again for sure. Stay tuned,” he said to IFL TV. “You can look forward to seeing me [fight] here as well”, Wilder added about Saudi Arabia becoming a new home for boxing, as it’s where the money is.

Tyson Fury is expected to fight Oleksandr Usyk next for the undisputed heavyweight crown, but the bout hasn’t been made official yet.

The Ukrainian’s team said that last Saturday was the deadline for the unification fight to be done, but there have been no news and things could change if the American power puncher comes on the scene.

The first fight between Wilder and Fury was ruled a draw, while the following two clashes ended with a win for The Gipsy King.

Their third fight, which took place in October 2021, is considered among the best matchups in heavyweight history, with Wilder being sent to the canvas three times and Fury going down twice.
