10 of 11 teams confirm drivers for 2025 Formula 1 season: full list
10 of 11 teams have confirmed their lineups, with Lewis Hamilton the highest-profile mover in the offseason from Mercedes to Ferrari.
The 10 teams that took part in the 2024 Formula 1 season have confirmed which drivers will be racing for them in 2025, with only one constructor still to announce its lineup for next season.
Seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton is the highest-profile mover, switching from Mercedes to Ferrari, while Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérez is the arguably the biggest casualty after losing his seat with Red Bull Racing.
Driver changes for 2025 F1 season
Max Verstappen was the drivers’ champion for the fourth year in succession in 2024 and will be joined at Red Bull by 22-year-old New Zealander Liam Lawson, who competed in the final six races of last season for Racing Bulls (RB).
Hamilton will replace Carlos Sainz, who has signed for Williams, and will himself be replaced by Italian teenager Kimi Antonelli, who has been a member of the Mercedes Junior Team since 2019.
Haas and Sauber, who finished seventh and 10th in the 2024 constructers' standings respectively, have changed both of their drivers.
Cadillac will be joining the Formula 1 grid in 2025 but have yet to announce who will be driving for them, the only team still to do so.
