“I have been training hard in Mexico and in regular contact with the team in the United Kingdom. We hope to be a better position with the car in Austin. We have made some changes during the break, with the aim of improving the pace and we will see how competitive we are” he explained.
To end, ‘Checo’ acknowledged Red Bull’s teamwork and hopes that Austin, which will be contested in a sprint format, will highlight the work of the energy drink team.
“The fact that it is a sprint race makes things a little complicated, because we have a practice session to get the car in order before necessary, but that is where the teamwork comes into play and that is where we excel.” he concluded.
