Milan find goals against PSG
What a result for AC Milan. No goals coming into this game in the Champions League and on the back of a 0-3 reverse in the same fixture just two weeks ago.
They rode their luck a few times in what was an open encounter throughout, but thanks to two excellent goals - an overhead kick from Leao and Giroud's powerful header - they turned things around after Skriniar's early opener.
Group F is now wide open with two games to go, Dortmund leading the way but with much still to be settled.

Peep, peeep, peeeeeeep! It's all over
The home fans in the crowd are biting their scarves, nerves bulging out of their faces.
It's all PSG, as you may expect given the scoreline and clock situation, but the Italians are working hard all across the final third.
As Milan aim to smother every space, Dembélé is found with a pinpoint through ball and just needs to turn with it to have a great chance in front of goal.
His spin is good, but the spherical item doesn't come with him and the opportunity is, frustratingly, gone.
Seven minutes to be added.
Just as I'm complimenting his impact, the South Korean star drifts across the middle of the MIlan area, picks up the ball and fires a low strike which pings back off the near upright.
The hosts desperate to hold on.
Kang-In Lee has been very lively since coming on. Working from the left he's looking to get involved and has delivered a couple of dangerous crosses for teammates but the defence holds firm.
SAVE!! And what a stop it was from Donnarumma
Okafor, just on for Leao, spins inside the area and curls a beautiful effort towards the far post. The Italian keeper springs into action and pushes it wide with his fingers. Applause all round.
An ugly couple of minutes from the home side, giving the ball back to their guests unnecessarily. Nothing comes of it, other than a stinging shot from Mbappé straight at Maignan.
As the subs come in, it would appear that earlier challenge may have taken its toll on Leao, who trots off to a big snog from his boss. He's had a great game.
Get a throw. Take your time. Ball with Maignan. Do really slow count to release.
Milan trying to extend as much of the non-playing minutes as possible. And Leao has just helped the cause even more by tempting in a foul on him... although it may have been a little more painful than he was hoping. He's fine though.
Leao adds to the previous comment about Giroud but in a very different style. Speed and power allow him to carry the ball away down the left, Fabian having to track a long way back to eventually get possession back for PSG.
Giroud again shows his aptitude at hold up play. A long pass from Maignan could have ended in an aerial battle for possession but the veteran just bullies his way in front of the defender, takes the ball down, and lays it off. I enjoy that.
Lightening from Mbappé.
He bursts away down the left leaving his marker for dead. Problem is, by the time he reached the goal line, his support players hadn't caught up either. Maignan was alert to his cheeky attempt to poke it in at the near post.
Milan very happy not to be rushing into any play, the time continues to tick them towards a hugely important win. But there's a lot of football still to be had.
Musah is holding onto the escaping Lucas like he was a young child about to step into a busy road. For that 'preventative' measure his name is taken by the Spanish official.
That, to anyone paying attention earlier, does indeed see the US player miss the next game.
Theooooooooo... almost!
After soaking up some pressure, Milan break well through Leao, who then draws the foul. Up steps the number 19, and his curling effort looks to be sneaking inside the post before Donnarumma gets a hand to it. Almost!
Both Mbappé and Dembélé have clearly been told by Luis Enrique to get their boots white, spending quite a bit of their time really wide.
It makes sense in terms of stretching the defence but, as we've just witnessed, when the ball is swung into the mixer, there aren't enough players to get on the end of it.
Milan are knocking the ball around with a little more assuredness, likely happy to take the madness out of the game and get some control.
Their opponents, on the other hand, looking to push forward at pace whenever possible.
Theo is the latest into the book, stretching to avoid any break. Now Loftus-Cheek is getting treatment for the injury caused by the challenge.
The English player is back up and he'll be fine to continue.
As you may have expected, since the goal its been all PSG. Kolo Muani, Dembélé, Mbappé all trying to create but not getting an effort away at Maignan.
Milan tighten the ranks.
Giroud heads Milan in front!!
What a delicious header from the Frenchman. Leao had been floored earlier in the move but the whipped in cross from Theo on the left is met and thudded home by the striker. Brilliant stuff.
Really smart play from Giroud, turning a desperate clearance into a breakaway for Milan, results in Reijnders getting a strike from just inside the PSG penalty box. He drags it wide but it was another sign of the threat they carry.
PSG again start brightly and force a corner.
From that, delivered by Dembélé, a string of crosses and clearances are made from the French champions but Milan keep things tight and manage to work the ball away from their area.
Milan, in their red and black combination, get us going in this second half.
OK, the teams are out again and we're about ready to go.

Milan 1-1 PSG: half-time musings
Well, that was a rather blistering first half. Hopefully the players are getting some serious energy drinks in them to keep that up.
PSG initially looked to take control with some impressive early play but very quickly the game opened up into a free-for-all. Chances arrived at both ends throughout and the only surprise is that the opening goals - three minutes apart on 8 and 11 - were not added to.
Mbappé had his moments, Dembélé hit the bar. Giroud, Leao and Pulisic all had their own sniffs.
From a Milan point of view, the big news (if you've been reading from the start) is that they've scored. The question now is whether they can add to it.
Leao over and out
Milan's Portuguese forward was rather pleased with his equaliser, just three minutes after Skriniar had headed PSG in front.
Peep! That's it, orange and advice time.
Let me gather my thoughts and then I'll summarise what we've seen...
One minute to be added.
As we edge towards the break, Hakimi fancies a go from an unlikely place. It's not the worst attempt but was never going to bother Maignan. Board about to go up.
Ugarte becomes the third name to be taken. That looked a sore one on Theo, but he's fine to continue, if giving the eye that revenge may be in mind.
Pulisic wide! Decent chance again falls the way of the American.
Ball over the top sends him scampering away and a right-footed effort into the near top corner is what he is dreaming off as he closed in on Donnarumma. Nearly.
Another run from Dembélé coming in from the right but, again, he can't find a teammate.
Then Leao gets space at the other end and he is able to get a shot away, which is wide. No let up it would appear, and the crowd is loving it.
Very tidy wing play from Dembélé who drops a shoulder, makes it to the byline and cuts the ball back into the danger area. A horde of red and black shirts make sure that it doesn't reach a grateful target in white.
Kolo Muani into the book. And this hands the Italians a decent free-kick option, around 30 yards out.
Tomori takes, curling it around the wall, but Donnarumma throws himself to his right and punches away to safety.
Immediately from the PSG opportunity, Giroud is set free on the left of goal after a great break by Leao.
He strikes hard but drags it across goal and wide. Non-stop chance creation going on at the San Siro.
Clang!! It's off the crossbar from Dembélé.
And it was a really good effort from the French winger, Maignan at full stretch but never reaching it. So, so close.
Great chance for Mbappé!
The star man is played through perfectly by Dembélé. Defenders are chasing in vain but as Maignan closes the space, Kylian pushes the ball wide of the post. He's annoyed at that one.
Vitinha has his name taken for a bit of naughtiness.
He was not one of the four previously mentioned tightrope walkers.
Captain America tries his luck from just outside Donnarumma's area but the defensive block is quickly in place and snuffs out the shot. This game is still very open and more goals are coming (it worked the last time!)
A bit of back and forth is finished off with some neat interplay from the visitors that frees Hakimi down the inside right channel. He fires a low strike across goals which flies to the outside of the far post.
Maignan looked way too relaxed for how close that was to nestling.
We've had a relative lull in the last few moments, which is always handy for a live blogger, but both teams are clearly mad for this and keen to tale advantage of every opportunity that is handed to them.
PSG are building better but Milan quick on the break. Who's getting the next?

What a crazy open start to this game. A solid save from Donnarumma pops into the air and the Portuguese star goes overhead kick from close range to finish it off.
Americans Pulisic and Musah have both been involved in the last couple of minutes, the latter drawing a good save from Donnarumma. There are more goals in this game.
Skriniar opens the scoring

Skriniar gets on the end of a brilliant Marquinhos knock down and PSG lead early.
Chance falls to the hosts, as Rafael Leao plays in Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The Englishman lets fly from the edge of the area but it's always going over. Lively start.
Another chance for Kylian to make something happen, in what has been a good start from PSG. More infield this time he tries to thread a ball through the Italian needle but clips the first defender and that takes it away.
Mbappé time. He picks up the ball on the left touchline and draws in his marker before firing off down the line. He shows great strength to hold onto the ball but his final cross is collected easily at the near post by Maignan.
First sign of KM danger.
Immediately the visitors fire the ball long, get some early possession in the opponent's area. It's dealt with well enough from the Milan defenders and cleared away.
Peeeep! We're off.

It has been just over a week since arguably the biggest rivalry in club football took place, Barcelona and Real Madrid going head-to-head, and the high pressured atmosphere was put in the decision-making hands of a certain Jésus Gil Manzano.
Now he gets the chance to keep the peace and order in the San Siro.

Group F: how it stands
That Dortmund win puts them above PSG ahead of our Milan encounter. With only six points up for grabs after tonight, the Italians know the importance of a win if they have hopes of making it into the knock-out stages again.

Group F update: Dortmund beat Newcastle
Right, so the other game in this group has just finished and it was a fairly routine home victory for the Germans. Goals from Füllkrug (25') and Brandt (78') sent the Premier League side packing.
Walking the tighrope
OK, so it's not a crunch knock-out match so the metaphorical 'tightrope' of being suspended with a booking in this game is rather low to the ground and with a sizeable net surrounding it, but, just so you know, the following players would miss the next match if they were to see yellow:
Milan: Krunic and Musah
PSG: Hakimi and Dembélé
Of course, depending on how things are looking in the second half, a tactical foul, needless ball kick away, or tug of a player's shirt, may come in handy to clear the decks.

Mbappé and the rest
It's been a remarkable run of late for PSG. Since their 4-1 embarrassment in Newcastle in Matchday 2 of the Champions League group, they have played five, won five and scored three goals in each of them. The latest of these came on Friday with the league win over Montpellier.
One thing that is obvious from the scorers list, though, is that the bulk of the goals come via one man, Kylian Mbappé. You may have hear of him.

Goals needed from Milan
A 1-0 loss at the weekend at home to Udinese was far from ideal preparation for Stefano Pioli and his players. And other than the 2-2 draw away to Napoli the week before, you have to go back to September 30 since the team last scored more than one in a game. And there were four drawing of blanks in that period.
Giroud is the man leading the line but he'll need his midfield to chip in, with many stateside hoping for a good showing from Captain America.

No surprise to see another strong line-up from Luis Enrique as he looks to secure this group as early as possible. Most eyes will be on Mbappé to see if he can continue on his scoring spree.

Talking of live games, one of the early kick-offs involves Barcelona - who'd I'd rate in the second tier of likely winners of this year's competition along with PSG - and Joe is all over that like a Yorkshire rash.

Last time out in Paris between these two sides, it was rather one-sided. Goals from Kylian Mbappé, Randal Kolo Muani and a late one from Lee Kang-In put PSG in the Group F driving seat.

I mentioned before that the Italians have really struggled of late to get the opposition's onion bag filled. Three games into the UCL and not once have they managed it... despite a very respectable 16 shots per game on average.
Will they be more clinical tonight? Who's most likely to get on the scoresheet? We'll consider their options shortly.

The French champions finished the halfway point in the group in decent position, with important wins over Dortmund and Milan.
For tonight's hosts, a win is surely a must if they are to reach the knockout stages. But with no wins thus far, no goals scored, and a 0-3 reverse just two weeks ago in Paris, it's a big ask.

Champions League: Matchday 4
Tucked away in that list is our big game focus but as you can see there are a number of pretty tasty fixtures on.
The early KO between Dortmund and Newcastle will have a bearing on how followers of Milan and PSG feel later this evening.
Before I get into the sporting aspect of the game, there was some troubling news earlier as fans of both teams clashed in the streets of Milan. It was reported that one person was stabbed and taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Madness!

The Champions League is back! To be fair, it's only been away for a couple of weeks, but by golly we missed it and guess you did too. There have already been some early kick-offs - I'll bring you an update on those shortly - but here we will be concentrating on AC Milan vs Paris Saint-Germain. Two European giants on paper, but what can they deliver on the field?
I'm Calum and I'll be your host for the next couple of hours as we find out potentially a great deal about how Group F is going to shape up ahead of the knockout phase.
