Almería vs Real Madrid: times, how to watch on TV, stream online | LaLiga
Find out how to watch Real Madrid’s second outing of the 2023/24 season, as guests of Almería.
Real Madrid got their 2023/24 LaLiga campaign off to a perfect start with a 0-2 win away at Athletic Club. That however was about the only thing Carlo Ancelotti and his players had to cheer with the news that another first team regular will be out for the rest of the season.
Centre-back Eder Militão suffered an ACL tear in Bilbao and joins Thibaut Courtois in the casualty room - both players will be out for nine months meaning their season is effectively over.
Sunday’s opponents Almería have issues of their own. The Andalucians lost their opening match to Rayo Vallecano - a 0-2 defeat that plunged them into the relegation places, if only temporarily and with coach Francisco Rodríguez, serving a ban and watching helplessly from the stands.
Real Madrid are probably the last team that Almería would like to face right now - the locals have only won this fixture once, and that was way back in 2008.

Almería vs Real Madrid: prediction
Apart from a resounding win over El Ejido at the start of the summer Almería have struggled to find the net over the pre-season. The squad is not yet complete and there will be more reinforcements before the transfer window closes. Hopefully new signing Ibrahima Koné, who looks set to join on a €7 million deal from Lorient will resolve the team’s struggles in front of goal.
Scoring doesn’t usually tend to be an issue for Real Madrid - they have goal scorers throughout the team, including newboy Jude Bellingham, who opened his LaLiga account last weekend. For all of their injury problems, Madrid just look too strong on paper and we expect them to go home with all three points.
Prediction: Almería 0-3 Real Madrid
