América are casting their net far and wide in their search for a replacement for Leo Suárez. According to Claro Sports, the Águilas are seeking a right winger and have elected Javairô Dilrosun, a 25-year-old Dutch forward who is currently on the books at Feyenoord. Claro Sports’ report claims that the Mexican club has the edge over two of Dilrosun’s other suitors - Celta Vigo and Lorient.

América will to pay

Both Celta and Lorient had hoped to take the player on loan but América is at an advantage as they would be willing to buy him outright. The operation would also favor Feyenoord who are planning to incorporate another player before the winter transfer window closes.

Dilrosun joined Feyenoord from Hertha Berlin in the summer of 2022 but he has not had much regularity in Rotterdam. The 25-year-old’s contribution has been just 12 appearances, with one goal and one assist so far this season. According to Transfermarkt, Dilrosun, who was born in the Dutch capital, has a market value of around 4 million euros. If it comes to fruition, he would become the first Dutch footballer to sign for América.
