Barcelona has sent a letter to the Court of First Instance number 15 of Madrid in which it communicates its willingness to withdraw the procedure undertaken against LaLiga for the agreement that it signed in its day with the investment fund CVC, for which it would inject around €2 billion among all the Spanish teams that make up professional football.

In addition to Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Athletic were included in this procedure, the two other clubs that refused to sign the so-called Impulse Plan by which the entities had to cede around 10% of their audiovisual and commercial rights in the next 50 years.

What did Barcelona say about the CVC issue?

In the second point of the letter, Barça states “that, based on the foregoing, it is in the interest of Barcelona law that, after the appropriate legal procedures, that Court issues a Decree of dismissal in relation to Fútbol Club Barcelona exclusively without making an express imposition on the coasts.

This decision does not mean that Barça joins the Impulse Plan. In fact, from the League, this possibility is very complicated, but some specific collaboration is not ruled out.
