Barcelona reach agreement with defender Evan Ndicka

Barcelona have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka.

Update:

German news outlet Sport1 report that Barcelona have reached a verbal agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka.

The agreement means that the LaLiga club will have to decide whether or not to sign the French centre-back in March, as nothing has been finalised yet.

Free agent

Ndicka’s contract at the Bundesliga side expires in June, meaning he could move to Camp Nou on a free transfer this summer.

He joined the German side from French club Auxerre in 2018 and has represented France from U16 to U21 level.

The defender, 23, has played in every game in the Bundesliga this season and also featured in the games involving Eintracht and Barcelona in the Europa League last season, before his side went on to lift the trophy, beating Rangers in the final in Seville.
