Update:

Defeat to Rayo Vallecano at Camp Nou was bad enough, as the Xavi revival at Barcelona hit another bump in the road. But then came the news that Sergino Dest could be out for the remainder of the season after picking up a hamstring injury in Sunday’s clash.

Dest return date unknown as Barça chase strong finish

Clement Lenglet replaced the US international at half-time in a game that finished 1-0 to the visitors from the south of Madrid. Afterwards Dest underwent tests and the club confirmed that the injury was in his right hamstring, although no return date was provided.

“Tests carried out on Sergino Dest have confirmed that the player has injured the semitendinosus muscle in his right hamstring. The player is unavailable for selection and his recovery will dictate his return,” the often vague statement read, but similar injuries can take several weeks.
