INTER MIAMI
Beckham sends fans crazy with Neymar photo: could he sign for Inter Miami?
David Beckham shared a photograph that immediately sparked all kinds of speculation for the future of the Brazilian winger.
While Neymar continues with his recovery process after tearing ligaments in his left knee, the Brazilian star has taken time to relax and spend some time in the United States. This week he popped up in Miami, a move which sparked thousands of people to speculate on the reason behind his flying visit to Florida.
After appearing at events such as the Miami Open and being in charge of the first pitch at the MLB Opening Day with the Miami Marlins, Neymar just had one more target on his to-do list: MLS.
‘Welcome to Miami my friend. Only for dinner’
The return of the MSN has been one of Inter Miami fans’ dreams since their project to bring the best talent from Europe was kicked off with the arrival of Messi to the States. And those flames have been reignited after David Beckham posted a photo showing him eating dinner with one third of the trio: Neymar.
Through social networks, David Beckham shared a photograph with his wife Victoria and Neymar, accompanied by the phrase “Welcome to Miami my friend 🩷 (only for dinner 😂)”.
Will Neymar attend Inter Miami - NYCFC?
The reactions to the image were immediate and hundreds of Inter Miami fans asked Beckham to take charge of signing Neymar to bring together the long-awaited reunion of the MSN: the successful trident that gave Barcelona their last Champions League and won nine titles in total during the more than 100 games they played together.
At the time of writing, the plans that the Brazilian has during his stay in Miami are unknown; after appearing at the NBA game between the Heat and the Warriors, at the Miami Masters 1000 and at the MLB, it would not be a surprise to see the former Barcelona winger at Chase Stadium this Saturday.
Inter Miami will host NYCFC (Saturday 30 March 2024. KO 7:30pm ET/4:30pm PT.) at home and as has become a custom since Messi’s arrival, important celebrities have seen Chase Stadium as a place where they can watch elite sport in Florida.
So there is indeed a possibility that Neymar will be in attendance, at least in the stands; while the long-awaited reunion with Messi and Suárez on the pitch may not be happening, we could just see the old band back together once more.
