Bellingham eyed by Premier League club in sensational January move
Crystal Palace are paying special attention to Jobe Bellingham, who could well move this January.
The winter transfer market has its sights on a player destined to become a prominent figure in the coming years. Jobe Bellingham, the younger brother of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, has emerged as the main target for Crystal Palace, a Premier League club with a long-standing interest in the young footballer.
According to British media outlet talkSPORT, Crystal Palace are reportedly analysing the potential signing of Jobe, who currently plays as an attacking midfielder for Sunderland.
Is Jobe Bellingham similar to Jude on the pitch?
At just 19-years-old, the youngest Bellingham has already earned a call-up to England’s Under-21 squad and has established himself as a key player in the second tier of English football. He has appeared in nearly 90% of Sunderland’s matches, showcasing his consistency and importance to the team.
Physically, Jobe shares similarities with his elder brother Jude, boasting a commanding presence on the pitch. While slightly taller, Jobe’s role in Sunderland’s offence mirrors Jude’s ability to create scoring opportunities, although Jobe operates in a slightly deeper position rather than focusing solely on the front line.
This season, Jobe has featured in 23 of Sunderland’s 26 matches, contributing four goals and three assists. He has also displayed his tenacity with one red card and five yellow cards. A predominantly right-footed player, his current market value is estimated at around €18 million.
