Bernabéu Tour returns double that of the Prado Museum
Real Madrid expects record revenues driven by the new Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and its growing commercial power.
Real Madrid’s numbers keep climbing. The world’s highest-earning sports club has budgeted $1.33 billion (€1.25 billion) in revenue for the 2025–26 season – a record figure in global sports. It surpasses the $1.26 billion (€1.18 billion)from the previous financial year, which closed with a profit of $25.5 million (€24 million), and far exceeds the $1.14 billion (€1.07 billion) generated in 2023–24.
A large share of this revenue boost will come from operations linked to the revamped Santiago Bernabéu, not including potential concert income, a matter still being finalized. The stadium’s new attractions – Sky Bar, Bernabéu Market, the upcoming NFL game on November 16, a Christmas theme park, and the ever-popular Bernabéu Tour – are expected to drive significant earnings. Last season, the tour alone brought in $56.1 million (€52.6 million), a record for any venue in Madrid. By comparison, the Prado Museum reported $28.8 million (€27 million) in income for 2023, the latest available figure.
Some of the prize money from the Club World Cup, which concluded in July, will also be reflected in this fiscal year’s accounts. The 2024–25 season included extra revenue from the Copa del Rey final appearance, and although the team exited the Champions League in the quarterfinals against Arsenal – falling short of the previous year’s title-winning campaign – the additional tie against Manchester City helped offset part of that financial shortfall.
Meanwhile, the club’s marketing budget will rise from $552 million (€506 million) to $588 million (€539 million), underscoring Real Madrid’s continued dominance both on and off the pitch.ç
