Both Bayern Munich and Liverpool interested in Real Madrid midfielder, Aurélien Tchouaméni
Real Madrid’s French midfielder is receiving a lot of interest this summer, but are the Spanish club open to selling?
The transfer market is open and the buying and selling has very much begun. Teams across the world are exchanging huge fees across the counter for huge players and one team that has already moved pieces is Liverpool, who are on the verge of losing even more midfielders in what might be termed an ‘exodus’ if things stay the same. Thiago Alcantara has been linked with moves away while Fabinho could be leaving as Jordan Henderson puts his LGBTQ duties to one side to line up a move to Saudi Arabia.
As such, the Merseyside club have once again focussed Real Madrid’s French midfielder, Aurélien Tchouaméni, in the crosshairs of their scope, and they are reportedly keen on bringing the 23-year-old to England.
Tchouaméni arrived in Madrid just last summer to replace the outgoing Casemiro, and had something of a mixed season: the World Cup put an end to his initially fabulous form in the white shirt and then it was a struggle for him to usurp his teammates to regain that starting position in Carlo Ancelotti’s XI. Nevertheless, the Frenchman showed his class and demonstrated to Madrid that they have a star for the present and future at the base of the middle line.
“Tchouaméni is not for sale”
Carlo Ancelotti trusts the player and does not want to let him go, AS understands. The player himself also seems keen to continue to make his mark in Madrid, given that he recently liked a tweet that reportedly came from furious Tweeter, Fabrizio Romano, saying that “Tchouaméni is not for sale, do you understand, Liverpool? Real Madrid’s message is clear: they want to keep the player”.
Given the fact that the player himself liked this message, something which would have taken a lot to happen by mistake, it seems that he is not contemplating a move to England this summer either. But Liverpool are not the only club fishing in the water...

Bayern Munich keen on Tchouaméni
According to reports in Germany, Thomas Tuchel, Bayern’s manager, has singled out the Frenchman as the ideal candidate for his midfield. Like Liverpool, Bayern have been spoken about as a team who are looking to refresh their creative forces and for that reason, players like Goretzka and Kimmich have been sounded out as potential departures this summer.
Bayern, according to the report from Sport1, have already been in contact with the player, but Madrid are keen to make clear that their intention is to keep him in their ranks, despite a slight overbooking in the middle of the park.
For now, Tchouaméni is not for sale, and although things can change quickly in the transfer market, Real Madrid’s message is clear.
