Brighton vs Manchester United preview
Brighton’s season has been remarkable, with Roberto De Zerbi’s side currently in 7th place in the Premier League table with 49 points. They have played two games less than two of the teams above them -- one of them Liverpool -- making their position even more impressive. Brighton advanced to the this semi-final by comfortably disposing of lower league Grimsby Town 5-0 in the previous round.
For United, it has been a difficult week as they suffered two significant blows when Varane and Martinez were ruled out for the rest of the season and they were then knocked out of the Europa League by LaLiga strugglers Sevilla on Thursday. Despite this, The Red Devils will take confidence from their past record against Brighton in the FA Cup, having not lost in their last five encounters. However, Brighton has already beaten United twice in the league this season, so the match is expected to be closely contested.
Wembley is ready
A packed house is expected at the iconic stadium for this evening's clash.
