Since Todd Boehly took over Chelsea, he wanted to make an immediate impact on the team and win as many trophies as possible in a short period of time. The Blues went on a spending spree during the winter transfer window and spent over $600 million on new signings, but things have not turned out as expected for Boehly.

Chelsea lost to Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend to extend their poor run. The team owned by Boehly has only won two out of 15 games since 3 November across all competitions. The Blues are currently in 10th place in the standings in the Premier League after 24 games and they are in serious danger of not qualifying for Europe next season.

Boehly could sack Potter

Since Graham Potter took over, replacing Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea have been eliminated from the FA Cup, Carabao Cup and they lost 1-0 to Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League. They will host the Bundesliga side for the second leg in the hope that they can turn things around and make a push to win the tournament this season.

Fans were very hopeful with the players that arrived during the winter, but they have not yet been able to make an impact.
