How many LA Galaxy games will Chicharito Hernández miss?

The bad news continues for Hernández, who he revealed on a live stream on Twitch that his recovery timeline is looking like anywhere from two to five weeks. This means that Chicharito could miss the next five games of the 2023 MLS season for the Galaxy against FC Dallas (4 March), Sporting KC (11 March), Vancouver (18 March), Portland (25 March), Seattle Sounders (1 April) and Houston Dynamo (8 April).

The Mexican international could make his season debut with the Galaxy when they host Los Angeles Football Club on 16 April at the Dignity Health Sports Park in the first edition of El Tráfico. Javier Hernández also confirmed that he suffered a hamstring injury during the pre-season games against New York RB or Toronto FC.

Am I playing against Dallas? No, I am not playing because I’m recovering from my injury. I am going to be out between two to five weeks and I have to be careful so I don’t suffer setbacks,” said the captain of the LA Galaxy when a fan asked him about an injury update on his live stream.
