The future of Mexican striker Luca Martínez Dupuy remains undecided. The Rosario Central player has several proposals from various Liga MX clubs ahead of the new campaign. Chivas made an offer for the player, which was rejected and they have yet to send a second bid, AS Mexico can confirm.

At the same time, according to sources close to the matter, Pumas made a proposal for a loan deal, but it was also rejected by the board of the Rosario-based club, with whom he has a contract until 2024.

In addition to Chivas and Pumas, Juárez FC have also shown interest in signing the Mexican Under-20 player who played in the Maurice Revello 2023 youth tournament, where they finished second.

On his return, Dupuy addressed the possibility of a move to Guadalajara for the Apertura 2023. “Yes, there is a possibility. I’m very motivated by Chivas’ interest. Let’s wait and see what happens. I’ll keep doing my job, training and improving day after day,” he said.

Born in San Luis de Potosi, in 2001, he made his Central debut on November 2, 2020, and has played a total of 55 games, with 14 starts, seven goals, and two assists. In April 2022, he suffered a cruciate ligament rupture that kept him out for nine months.
