Christian Pulisic gets two assists on his debut with Italian side AC Milan
Christian Pulisic started off with a bang for Milan after he managed to get two assists in a pre-season win.
Chelsea now exist in the past for Christian Pulisic, who this Thursday played his first game as an AC Milan footballer. He featured in a pre-season game for the club and got off what must be dream start, as the winger immediately showed his quality in the team led by Stefano Pioli.
Milan faced Lumezzane, a team from Italy’s Serie C and were the first test this season for the team that will be one of many European teams to travel to the United States in the coming days to continue their preparation.
Pulisic started for AC Milan
In just 15 minutes of the game, Milan showed their power and class over their opponents and went 2-0 up in quick succession with goals from Tommaso Pobega: both of his goals were assisted by none other than Pulisic himself.
In both goals, Pulisic sent a diagonal cross to the middle of the area which Pobega got on the end of and managed to score the goals. Milan began to take over the match right from the off and after the first 45 minutes they were already 4-0 ahead.
Clash of the Giants in the United States
Next Sunday, July 23, AC Milan will play their first game in the United States event against Real Madrid, in what is undoubtedly one of the standout games of the summer tour.
This match at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California is set to be a fan favourite as both teams possess huge fan bases stateside and tickets will no doubt be at a premium for the highly-anticipated clash of giants. Having Pulisic, Captain America, on their side will also be a huge source of attraction and income for the Italian club.
