Just two weeks separate us from the start of the 2024 MLS season, in which 29 teams will seek the crown that currently belongs to Columbus Crew after its victory last December in the MLS Cup against LAFC.

Some of the teams, such as Inter Miami, have made special preparations by travelling around the world, as the Herons visited countries such as Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong and recently Japan, from where they are returning after their loss against Vissel Kobe.

However, other teams have opted more for the traditional method, which is to prepare in U.S. territory by playing against opponents from the same league in order to refine the final details that will allow them to start the season off on the right foot.

Which teams are playing in the Coachella Valley Invitational?

11 MLS teams and one USL Soccer team will face each other in the last pre-season tournament before the start of the U.S. soccer season.

Austin FC, Charlotte FC, LA Galaxy, LAFC, New York City, New York Red Bulls, Portland Timbers, San Jose Earthquakes, Minnesota United, St. Louis City, Chicago Fire and Phoenix Rising are the teams that will make up Coachella Valley Invitational, which begins in California on Thursday.

You can buy tickets for the games via the official Coachella Valley International website, where they can be purchased for the different days of competition as well as for the NWSL duels. Tickets range in price from $25 to $125 depending on the section you wish to attend at Coachella. And then after that, dear reader, we will finally be ready for MLS 2024.
