Here's how the fixtures look for Round One of the CONCACAF Champions Cup. The ties were decided at the draw ceremony in Miami, Florida.

The winner of these two-legged games will progress to the Round of 16, where they will be joined by the five seeded teams: Columbus Crew, Club América, LA Galaxy, LD Alajuelense and Cavalier FC
As the Liga MX champions, Club America received a bye for Round One of the 2025 CONCACAF Champions Cup. However things will not be easy for Las Aguilas from that point on, they look set to face another Mexican giant in the Round of 16.

Here's how things shake out after the draw for the 2025 ConcaChampions. There's a meeting of MLS giants as LAFC, Columbus Crew and Inter Miami are all drawn in the same quarter of the bracket.
Elsewhere, Chivas Guadalajara will meet Club America in the Round of 16 if they get past Cibao FC in Round One.
Last year Inter Miami made good progress in ConcaChampions but they were overpowered by a superior Monterrey side. Next time around, do they have what it takes to become only the fourth MLS team to lift the cup?

Sporting Kansas City drawn against Inter Miami.
One of the stand-out ties of Round One is an all-MLS affair, with Inter Miami taking on Sporting KC. These games will be played in February 2025, likely before the start of the new MLS season. A tough test for the MLS sides.

A couple of the headline games: Inter Miami will face Sporting Kansas City; Pumas take on Cavalry.

They will take on Tigres UANL in a rematch from the 2012 competition.

How does the ConcaChampions draw work?
On stage in Miami draw host Lindsay Casinelli is going through the pleasantries with tonight's esteemed guests. Former CONCACAF Champions Cup star Oribe Peralta and Jonathan Bornstein will be helping out with the draw, as will CONCACAF President and FIFA Vice President Victor Montagliani.
Here's how the draw process will work...
Three teams will be pre-seeded for Round One.
The three highest-ranked remaining teams will be seeded for the Round One games, in a bid to "reward their competitive merit and strength".
Those teams at CF Monterrey, Tigres UANL and Cruz Azul.
LA Galaxy not included in ConcaChampions Round One.
Five teams will get a bye for the 22-team Round One. Those lucky five are Columbus Crew, Club América, LA Galaxy, LD Alajuelense and Cavalier FC. Those teams will advance straight to the round of 16.
The Liga MX teams have historically dominated the tournament but there have been a few notable exceptions. Here's a look at the handful of MLS teams that have come out on top...

Reigning champions Pachuca, six-time winners, came out on top against Columbus Crew in the 2024 edition of the competition. Both teams will be among the favourites to challenge for the title again in 2025 and will be watching on eagerly as their first steps in the tournament are decided tonight.

Here's a look at the full list for next year's tournament, the second in the expanded 22-team format.
The MLS contingent for this year’s tournament is Columbus Crew, LAFC, Colorado Rapids, Sporting Kansas City, Inter Miami, Vancouver Whitecaps, LA Galaxy, FC Cincinnati, Real Salt Lake and the Seattle Sounders.
There are ten MLS teams in the mix for the 2025 CONCACAF Champions Cup, but the big Mexican teams will go into the tournaments as favourites once again. Liga MX has dominated over the years, with some notable, and one very recent, exception.
Real Salt Lake return to CONCACAF action.
After a decade away, RSL are back in the CONCACAF Champions Cup and will be looking to compete under head coach Pablo Mastroeni. Real Salt Lake made it to the quarter-finals in 2015 and made a run to the final in 2010, during the first year of the tournament's group stage format.
That year they lost out to Monterrey, who won their first ConcaChampions title.
Pachuca's route to CONCACAF glory.
Guillermo Almada's side continued the Liga MX dominance of the CONCACAF competition this year, triumphing against MLS Cup holders Columbus Crew in the final. Pachuca enjoyed a breath-taking run to the final, beating the likes of Club America on the way.
Inter Miami may have clinched the Supporters' Shield with a record points tally but they feel short in the postseason, leaving them needing a big 2025 performance to justify the astonishing outlay.

Fresh hope for Real Hope.
For the first time in the club's history, Haiti's Real Hope FA will compete for continental silverware in the CONCACAF Champions Cup. The team was only founded in 2014 but made it to the country's top division after just two years. They will be hoping to draw a major Mexican or MLS team.

CONCACAF champions ready for Intercontinental Cup challenge.
Pachuca head coach Guillermo Almada will be keeping an eye on tonight's draw but he's also got a lot more on his plate this week. As Champions Cup winner for 2024, Pachuca will take on the South American champions, Botafogo, in the Intercontinental Cup this weekend. Almada is relishing the challenge.
"The biggest aspiration that we can have, in our case as coaches and me as a [former] footballer, is to represent the institution in a contest in which all teams want to participate," the Pachuca boss said.
"So we are very privileged, and undoubtedly it is a very big responsibility, not only because we represent Pachuca, an institution with many titles, but all of Mexico and the Concacaf region."
How does the Champions Cup draw work?
Like this, essentially.
Of the 27 teams in the tournament, 22 of them will take part in a set of two-legged first round fixtures. The winning teams will progress and will be joined by the five seeded teams in the Round of 16. From there, the CONCACAF Champions Cup proceeds in a series of two-legged ties up to the final on June 1.
Taking on Pachuca is never an easy task for any MLS team. But meeting the Liga MX side in a major final, playing at altitude, with a squad decimated by illness, makes things particularly difficult.

Pachuca beat Columbus Crew in the 2024 final.
Once again, a Mexican side came out on top in the 2024 edition of the CONCACAF Champions Cup. Pachuca cruised to victory in the final against Columbus Crew, aided by home advantage at their high-altitude Estadio Higaldo. Liga MX giants have traditionally dominated the tournament, although MLS side Seattle Sounders did manage to break the stranglehold back in 2022.
Pachuca will be among the favourites to lift the trophy once again. Latest this week they take on Brazilian giants Botafogo in the Intercontinental Cup.
