CONCACAF W Gold Cup 2024 draw results: groups, matchups and bracket
We now know the group stage lineup for the 2024 Concacaf Women’s Gold Cup, as the top teams on the American continent face each other in the USA.
On Monday, the draw for the 2024 Women’s Gold Cup took place in the U.S., featuring a number of CONCACAF legends in an event that revealed the fate of the top national teams in the Americas for the inaugural edition of the competition. The most significant teams from CONMEBOL will also be part of this tournament, raising the level of competition.
Considering that the pots were predetermined and that the United States, Brazil, and Canada were already allocated to each group as top seeds, this day marked the determination of the groups and the fixtures that will take place in the first stage starting on Saturday 17 February 2024. It is worth noting that some high-caliber clashes will be witnessed from the beginning of the competition, given the way the draw unfolded.

Here’s a brief summary of how the competition will take shape.
Preliminary Round: the round where the last of the teams invited to the group stage will be determined will kick off on Saturday 17 February at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.
Group Stage: the action will commence with Mexico vs Argentina on Tuesday 20 February, along with the United States vs Preliminary 3. Following this, Panama vs Colombia and Brazil vs Preliminary 2 will take place on Wednesday 21 February, at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego. Finally, on Matchday 1, Costa Rica vs Paraguay and Canada vs Preliminary 1 will be held on Thursday 22 February, at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston.

Which teams qualify from Women’s Gold Cup group stage?
The top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-placed teams, will advance to the next round of the competition. A list will be compiled at the end of the group stage to determine matchups.
The seeding will pair the first-placed team against the eighth, the second against the seventh, and so forth in the subsequent rounds.
