19 days...that is the time it has taken Tottenham Hotspur to secure six new signings and thus fulfill the wishes of Antonio Conte. The Italian coach close to leaving the club at the end of the season but ended up staying after a new acquisition promise from owner Daniel Levy. The project has already seen more than 100 million euro invested on bringing in the likes if Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Clément Lenglet and Djed Spence.

Spence was the final player of the sextet to arrive at the North London side after the ‘Lillywhites’ announced the signing of the young defender from Middlesbrough for 14.7 million euro. This will be the 21-year-olds first taste of the top flight after spending his career to date in the Championship (the second division).

Spence is widely tipped for great things as a right back and destined to command the position in future England teams but will face stern defensive competition from Bissouma and Lenglet at Tottenham.

After Richarlison (58 million euro), Bissouma is Tottenham’s second largest investment in this window after they paid Brighton over 29 million euro for his signature. The defense has also been bolstered by the arrival of French player Clement Lenglet as he arrives on loan looking to put behind him an ‘annus horribilis’ at Barcelona.

A solid backup goalkeeper in the shape of Forster and a dangerous attacking midfielder Perisic are the other two players that complete the new Tottenham ‘super 6′ with the start of the new season just weeks away.
