The 48th edition of the Copa América will be held from next year from 20 June to 14 July with the participation of 10 teams from Conmebol and 6 invited teams from Concacaf as the official logo for the competition was unveiled.

“We are very excited about the new beginning of the oldest national team tournament in the world, where the best players, coaches and fans will be present. A new edition is coming that will make history and make the hearts of the entire continent beat faster”, stated the CONMEBOL president, Alejandro Domínguez.

The Copa América 2024 logo draws inspiration from the symbols representing the USA through the use of colours such as blue, red and white, along elements such as the stars, reminiscent of the country’s flag and which, in this context, also symbolize the sky and the legendary figures of the sport.

The competition is also set to act as a litmus test ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup which will be staged in the US along with co-hosts Canada and Mexico.
