Saudi Arabia is about to witness Cristiano Ronaldo reach a new milestone in his long and illustrious career. Everything is ready in Riyadh to host Cristiano Ronaldo’s big party: his 1,200th professional match. The forward, now 38-years-old, joins a select list of players who have seen such longevity in the sport.

The King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, home of Al Nassr, has everything primed for the Portuguese star to celebrate with the yellow of Al-Nassr such a fantastically high number of matches played. The Saudi side’s opponents will be Al Riyadh on Friday, 8 December 2023, KO 1 p.m. ET/ 10 a.m. PT., (a game you can watch for free).

Luis Castro kept Cristiano on ice for the visit to Tajikistan in the AFC Champions League, mainly so that he was able to now celebrate 1,200 career appearances in front of his home fans. As far as the plans go, something very special is expected from his club to honour the huge acheivement.
