CRISTIANO RONALDO

Cristiano Ronaldo’s doppelgänger: “I attract many women”

Cristiano Ronaldo is going through one of his most delicate moments as a footballer. His incendiary interview on ‘Piers Morgan Uncensored’, where he declared his discontent with Manchester United and the organization, led to his contract being terminated.

Ronaldo: a substitute’s substitute

This has meant the forward has been playing in Qatar without a contract with a club, and there are now many rumors linking him with the big bucks of United Arab Emirates or potentially a move in the opposite direction to the United States, where they continue to throw out tempting noises. And although the Portugal team are looking good in the World Cup, his teammates are doing it without him, and in the round of 16 match against Switzerland, in some style.

Substitute Cristiano is lacking work, but cast your eye over to his doppelgänger, Bewar Abdullah, and you’ll see that the situation is quite the opposite, with all kinds of job offers raining down on him. The young man from Kurdistan headed to the UK in 2019, and in a short period of time has become a viral phenomenon on social media. All this, because of his great resemblance to the footballer.

“Fans even hire me for their children’s birthday parties as a gift. I come and greet them, it makes them very happy”, he explained to the British press, adding, “people come up to me and ask me for photos and videos.”

A viral phenomenon in the networks

His social networks have proven to be the perfect showcase to assert that he bears a great resemblance to the star, and that is that on his TikTok profile he already has more than 1.8 million followers, and on Instagram he has reached the more than 52,000 'followers'.

Unsurprisingly, he hasn’t yet managed to earn the same salary as the Portuguese star, but Bewar has admitted that it is proving to be a fruitful gig.

“I make a lot of money and I attract a lot of women,” he claims. “They yell ‘Ronaldo’ when they see me. Fans think we’re like an apple cut in half because we look so much alike.

“When I have the opportunity to watch a Portugal game, the atmosphere is very good and they wait for Ronaldo to score so they can do the ‘siiiiii’ celebration,” he added.

However, Abdullah still has one related objective to achieve, and that is “meeting the real Ronaldo one day. It’s my dream.”

If the real Cristiano fancies a break from the publicity, maybe he could take advantage of his doppelgänger. Ah, wait, remember the statue?
