Cruz Azul makes the departure of Luis Abram official

Through their social media accounts, La Máquina confirm the departure of the player who will return to Granada in Spain.

Cruz Azul continues to move its pieces ahead of the Clausura 2023. Although they are playing in the Sky Cup, on their social media the team made official the departure of Luis Abram, who hasn’t spent very long in Liga MX.

“We make the departure of Peruvian Luis Abram official. Thank you very much, Luis! We wish you every success in the future!” was the message on Twitter, along with a photograph of the player in a Liga MX match.

Coming from Granada of the Spanish league, Abram joined Cruz Azul in 2022 where he only played 16 games, scoring two goals across a total of 1,261 minutes between Liga MX, Liguilla and Champion of Champions. Now, he will return to Europe to report with the rojiblancos.

The Peruvian player was with Sporting Cristal between 2014 and 2017 where he won five titles. Later he made the leap to Argentina to play with Vélez Sarsfield where he showed some strong performances that catapulted him to Spain with Granada.

In Mexico, he won the Supercopa MX with Cruz Azul in 2022, their last title.
