Endrick won’t join Real Madrid until July when he turns 18, but the Brazilian landed in Madrid on Friday. He arrived at Barajas airport at around 3 pm (local time) on Friday afternoon on a flight from Boston, which made a stopover in Lisbon.

Trip to the Bernabéu for Endrick

Real Madrid have invited the 17-year-old forward to attend Sunday’s LaLiga match against Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabéu. He will then return to Brazil to enjoy his off-season holiday and will not return to action until mid-January when the Brazilian league season kicks off. After landing, the Brazilian player had the opportunity to sign some autographs on some Madrid shirts held out by fans in the airport in the Spanish capital.

Meeting Real Madrid team-mates

Real Madrid have scheduled several activities for the teenager on his first official visit to Madrid. Among them is a visit to Valdebebas, where he will meet his future team-mates. On Friday, the squad had a Christmas lunch with the club’s coaching staff. The idea was for the player to join them, but the flight, which was scheduled to arrive before 2 pm, was delayed.

Endrick arrived with his mother, while his agent, Federico Pena, his father, his girlfriend and more of his family arrived on another flight from Sao Paulo. “I hope it can be a good year, but for now I’m only thinking about relaxing and having peace of mind,” he said recently. “We’re on holiday, let’s rest and then come back 100%. I want to leave here with six titles.”
