Endrick seals Real Madrid move
Both the LaLiga side and Palmeiras have confirmed the agreement for the player to join Madrid in July 2024, when he turns 18.
It’s official. Endrick Felipe is a new Real Madrid player. Both the Spanish side and Palmeiras announced the move jointly on Thursday morning with the statement claiming. “Real Madrid C. F., Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, and Endrick and his family have reached an agreement that allows the player to join Real Madrid when he reaches the legal age of 18 in July 2024. Until then, Endrick will continue training with S. E. Palmeiras. The player will travel to Madrid in the upcoming days to visit our club’s facilities”.
35 million plus add-ons
As previously reported by AS, the deal was concluded for a flat fee of 35 million euros plus an additional 25 for various objectives such as winning the Golden Boy award, number of games as a starter, goals scored, titles won... In this way, it could reach the 60 million euros that figured in the Brazilian’s buy-out clause.
“I thank Palmeiras, champion of the Americas and the world and, forever, the club of my heart, for offering me everything I needed to be who I am today, helping me fulfill my dreams and respecting my wishes and those of my family. ”, Endrick commented in the official Verdão media.
“Until I move to Real Madrid, I will continue dedicating myself as I have always done to be able to offer Palmeiras even more on the field: more goals, more victories, more titles and even more happiness for our fans”, added the striker, who will return to to training with Palmeiras on 2 January. The player is expected in the Spanish capital in the next few days to visit the Santiago Bernabeu and the club’s Valdebebas training complex.
