Palmeiras’ highly sought-after teenager Endrick has been attracting interest from Europe’s top clubs. Douglas Ramos, father of the talented youngster, told UOL Esporte: “We will travel to Madrid at the end of this month. The idea is none other than to get a first-hand look at the facilities of Los Blancos, at the invitation of the club itself. It will not, of course, be a purely tourist trip.”

There will also be talk about Endrick’s future. “After that conversation, Real Madrid will wait for our response to assess whether they should come and make an offer to Palmeiras,” he added.

Endrick has already netted three times and provided one assist for the Verdao, in just 306 minutes of play across seven games. Palmeiras are aware of the talent they have in their hands, which is why his first professional contract includes a relause clause of €60 million.

PSG and Chelsea among suitors

Real Madrid have been joined in the race for the player’s signature by Barça, PSG and Chelsea. The latter two, as reported by ESPN earlier this week, have submitted offers of €45 million. At Palmeiras, they are adamant: €60 million or nothing. It remains to be seen if after the visit to Madrid the dynamics of the negotiation change.

Madrid are comfortable in this type of negotiation, where they convince young prospects why the Santiago Bernabéu is the best place to go. Endrick, as was the case with Vinícius and Rodrygo, can not officially cross the pond until he turns 18, something in FIFA’s regulations. However, the signing could be completed earlier, as happened with Vini and Rodrygo, who were signed for €45 million and €40 million respectively.
