Hollywood has a new star, and his name is Riqui Puig. The LA Galaxy midfielder has become the team’s hero at the start of the MLS Playoffs and is emerging as a potential MVP.

The Colorado Rapids have experienced firsthand the Catalan’s exceptional form. In the first round of eliminations, they suffered heavy defeats in both matches, conceding a total of nine goals, four of which were scored by Riqui Puig, who also provided an assist.

Assuming a pivotal role, the Galaxy’s number 10 is emerging as a key figure in what promises to be a highly competitive Playoffs. Following their decisive victories, their next opponent will be determined from the Minnesota United and Real Salt Lake matchup, both formidable teams.
