Galatasaray make offer for Sergio Ramos
Reports in Turkey claim former PSG defender Ramos has received an offer to join the club for two years.
Galatasaray have had Sergio Ramos on their radar for several weeks and, according to Turkish media outlet Fanatik, the centre-back already has an offer on the table from club. The deal would be for two years and worth €5.5million ($6m) per year.
The club from Istanbul are hoping to be in the Champions League and want to sign the centre-back who dominated the competition for more than a decade.
Fanatik report that there is a real possibility of Ramos joining the Turkish giants and that the veteran defender has told club officials that if he does not receive any big offers from Saudi Arabia, he will sign for them.
Ramos has won it all
A World Cup, two European Championships, four Champions League titles, five Spanish league titles, Ramos has done it all but is still hungry for more.
Last season, he played almost the entire season with Paris Saint-Germain, featuring in 45 games and playing more than 3,000 minutes. The centre-back was also impressive in big games, including the Champions League tie against Bayern Munich.
Galatasaray still have a round and a half to go before they can reach the Champions League group stage. Tonight, the Turks face Olimpia Ljubljana at home, a side they beat 3-0 in the first leg. If they win, they will face the winner of Klaksvik and Molde.
