PSG head coach Christophe Galtier was unimpressed by Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann’s comments regarding Kylian Mbappé's latest injury.

Mbappé is set to miss the Champions League’s last 16 tie between PSG and Bayern after picking up a thigh injury against Montpellier in midweek.

The France international is expected to miss up to three weeks of action and the Bayern boss says that he does not believe the PSG forward will miss such an important fixture.

“I don’t know what he is suffering from,” Nagelsmann said.

“What they communicated is a bit unclear. I’ll prepare for the game as if he’ll play in it. Obviously, this can be a poker move.”

“Not PSG’s style”

PSG boss Galtier has since responded to Nagelsmann’s claims.

Speaking to Canal+ after Saturday’s 2-1 home win over Toulouse, Galtier said: “I don’t have to respond to him.

“I read what he said, that’s all. Playing mind games? That’s not our style, and not mine at all.”

Mbappé is now set to miss the Coupe de France last 16 clash against Marseille on Wednesday, as well as the Ligue 1 matches against AS Monaco and Lille.
