Gold Cup 2025 field is set: these are the teams to make the cut
The final teams for the 2025 Gold Cup have been confirmed, with seven nations securing their spots through qualification playoffs.

The list of teams for the 2025 Gold Cup is now complete. On Tuesday, March 25, the final seven qualifying matchups concluded, filling the remaining spots in CONCACAF’s premier tournament, where Mexico enters as the reigning champion.
Final qualifying round completes Gold Cup field
The Gold Cup qualification playoffs featured seven head-to-head matchups between teams from the CONCACAF Nations League. The teams that fell in the Nations League quarterfinals—Costa Rica, Jamaica, Suriname, and Honduras—were paired against the third- and fourth-place finishers from the group stage (Guatemala, Martinique, Nicaragua, and Trinidad & Tobago).
They were joined by the two best non-qualified teams from Nations League B (Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Bermuda) along with four winners from a prior play-in round (Guadeloupe, Cuba, Belize, and Guyana).
There were few surprises, aside from perhaps Nicaragua’s early exit at the hands of an experienced Guadeloupe, a team making its fifth Gold Cup appearance.
Mexico, Canada, the United States, and Panama had already secured their spots by advancing to the CONCACAF Nations League Final Four, while Saudi Arabia qualified as a guest team, marking their first-ever Gold Cup appearance.
