How many people fit in the Johan Cruyff Stadium? The capacity of the stadium where Barcelona - Valencia is played
With Camp Nou somehow still under construction, Barça turns to its more modest ground.

Barcelona’s LaLiga EA Sports clash with Valencia on matchday four will take place at the Johan Cruyff Stadium, the same venue where the team recently hosted Como in the Joan Gamper Trophy.
Johan Cruyff Stadium ready for Valencia
The ground is usually home to the reserve side, the women’s team, and the under-19s. With work at Camp Nou still unfinished and no move to Montjuïc, the Catalans have opted for a smaller stadium with a capacity of 6,000, of which 290 tickets have been allocated to Valencia supporters.
Despite the reduced size, neither club can contest the decision. LaLiga has authorized the fixture there under Article XIII.10 of Section II of the league’s Infrastructure Regulations, which allows the minimum 8,000-seat requirement to be waived for demographic, architectural, technical, or historical reasons related to the club.
How big is the Johan Cruyff pitch?
The pitch dimensions at Johan Cruyff Stadium are standard – 105m by 68m – and the stands are split between 5,000 seats in the upper tier and 1,000 in the lower. The venue was first conceived on September 14, 2017, with its foundation stone laid, and inaugurated on August 27, 2019, with a youth match between Barcelona and Ajax that ended in a 2-0 win for the Dutch side. It was built as a lasting tribute to the club legend.
