Update:

The wait is finally over for Gunners fans, after 22 long years and many near misses, the Premier League title returns to North London. Mikel Arteta’s side squeaked past Burnley on Monday night with a Kai Havertz winner and after Man City were unable to beat Bournemouth on Tuesday, with just one round of games outstanding, Arsenal are champions holding a four point advantage over Guardiola’s side.

Arteta’s men can add to the trophy haul for the 2025-26 season in Budapest at the end of the month as they face PSG in the Champions League final. This is only the second time the North Londoners have reached the UEFA showpiece final as they look to join a select list of clubs (Liverpool, Man United and City) who have bagged the double.

How much will the Gunners make in prize money?

Arsenal will be on track to pocket $220M–$240M in total central revenue distributions from the league but because the Premier League distributes its massive multi-billion dollar TV and commercial deals uniquely, the payout isn’t a single “championship check.” Instead, it is calculated using three main revenue streams:

Main prize: This is the direct cash prize linked to where a team finishes on the final league table. The Premier League operates on a sliding scale where the 20th-place team gets roughly $3.4 million, and every single position you climb adds an extra $3.3 million to the pile. Finishing 1st nets Arsenal the maximum merit payout of around $70 million.

Equal share payout: The bulk of the Premier League’s financial power comes from international and domestic broadcast rights. To keep the league highly competitive, all 20 clubs get the exact same flat baseline split just for being in the division, which sits just under $134 million.

TV Bonus: This is a variable payment based on how many times a club’s matches are chosen to be broadcast live on TV in the UK. Because Arsenal has been a massive global draw and heavily featured in primetime television slots throughout this intense title race (around 29 to 33 televised matches), they will max out this category, earning an extra $32 million to $36 million.
